LCC Klaipeda keeps Pereira for another season

LCC Tarptautinis Universitetas Klaipeda (Moteru Lyga) re-signed 22-year old Brazilian power forward Maisa Pereira (183cm-2002, agency: Interperformances) for season 2024-25. She joins another Brazilian player Maiara Pereira who is already in the roster.
She has played there for the last two seasons. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the Cup final. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian Moteru Lyga Forward of the Year, League Player of the Week and selected to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian Moteru Lyga First Team. She played 24 games in WBBL where she recorded 8.3ppg, 7.7rpg, 3.6apg and 1.1spg last season. Pereira contributed to her team making it to the WBBL final after they ended regular season as second best team. Great year indeed as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-WBBL Honorable Mention.
She represented Brazil at the World Cup U19 for Women in Debrecen (Hungary) three years ago. Her team won Silver and she had over 10 points per game.
Pereira has played previously in Brazil (Mesquita).
