Campinas clinch Paulista League title

Campinas celebrated Paulista League title. They nipped Santo Andre in the decisive third game of the championship series. It was a great evening for the former international Izabella Sangalli (182-1995) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points and 6 rebounds. Cuban point guard Ineidis Casanova (162-1988) helped adding 12 points and 6 assists. Four Campinas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Tassia Carcavalli (179-1992) with 18 points and 7 assists and swingman Yasmim Goncalves (174-1993) scored 20 points.
