Beroe Stara Zagora (NBL) added to their roster 27-year old Brazilian international 185cm power forward Aline Moura. Moura played last summer at SESI Araraquara Basquete in Brazilian Paulista. She has played there for the last three years. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and she was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 16 LBF games she recorded 11.0ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg. Moura helped them to win the LBF title and the cup. Great season indeed as she was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LBF Finals MVP, League Player of the Week and also here League Player of the Week (2 times). She also played 5 games in Liga Sudamericana where she averaged 11.4ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.0apg.
Moura has been also a member of Brazilian international program for some years. She has regularly played for Brazilian senior team since 2019 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2015.
Moura represented Brazil at the Panamerican Games for Women in Santiago (Chile) two years ago. Moura's team won Gold.
She has played also professionally in Portugal (GDESSA/Barreiro and Clube Desportivo Torres Novas) and Turkey (Besiktas).
Among many awards she received Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LBF Player of the Year award in 2023.
