The game between Top Four teams took place in Vila Medon. Third ranked host Corinthians (8-2) defeated one of their biggest challengers Ourinhos (6-4) 65-49. Corinthians have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 8-2 record behind leader Sampaio. Ourinhos at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Sao Jose and Campinas.
Bottom-ranked Blumenau (0-10) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to second ranked Sampaio (9-1) 80-65. The former international power forward Gabriela Guimaraes (180-1996) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and Carina Martins supported her with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 15 points and 5 assists by Uruguayan Maite Pereira (176-2004) did not help to save the game for Blumenau. Sao Jose managed to escape with a 3-point win 91-88 on Friday evening. Manuela Rios fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 8 steals for the winners. Giovanna Rocha produced 26 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Sao Jose moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ourinhos and Campinas. Loser Santo Andre keeps the ninth position with eight games lost.
In the last two games of round 10 Mesquita was destroyed by SESI on the opponent's court 76-57. Maringa unfortunately lost to Campinas in a home game 55-68.
