Guard Lucas Nakazawa (180-2005) stepped up and scored 28 points and 5 assists for the winners and naturalized Nigerian forward Richard Udoagwa (206-2005, college: Marshalltown) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Minas players scored in double figures. At the losing side Victor Pedreira (191-1996) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and guard Luiz Muller (190-1993) scored 18 points. Vitoria's coach Edu Oliveira rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Sorocabana 2 outrebounded Pinheiros 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Forward Nathan Gomes (201-2003) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Lucas Zibecchi (190-2001) accounted for 11 points and 5 assists. Four Sorocabana 2 players scored in double figures. Guard Pedro Iasi (182-2006) came up with 10 points and 6 rebounds and guard Marcelo Cardoso (193-2005) added 12 points respectively for Pinheiros in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
