LBF top team - Sampaio (11-1) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Blumenau (2-12) in Sampaio Basquete 76-48. Sampaio forced 22 Blumenau turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Thayna Silva (180-1996) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. The former international power forward Gabriela Guimaraes (180-1996) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Sil Gustavo (181-1982) answered with 22 points and 5 rebounds for Blumenau. Sampaio have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-1 record. Blumenau at the other side keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. Sampaio are looking forward to face Mesquita (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Blumenau will have a break next round.

Campinas' coach Bernardo Dos Santos allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Cuban point guard Ineidis Casanova (162-1988) responded with 14 points and 7 assists. Campinas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Sao Jose. Santo Andre at the other side keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. Campinas will play against Sao Jose (#5) at home in the next round. Santo Andre will have a break next round.

Rayane De Freitas came up with 16 points for Blumenau in the defeat. Cerrado maintains eighth place with 5-8 record. Loser Blumenau keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. Cerrado will meet at home league's leader Sampaio in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Blumenau will have a break next round.
In the last two games of round 13 Mesquita was beaten by Sao Jose on the road 75-66. Bottom-ranked Maringa was destroyed by SESI on its own court 51-70.
The most impressive performance of 13th round was 25 points and 13 rebounds by Vitoria Domingos of SESI.
