Domingos' double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old power forward Vitoria Domingos (181-PF-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked SESI Araraquara Basquete and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
She had a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds, while her team crushed Maringa (#11, 1-13) with 19-point margin 70-51. SESI maintains the 2nd position in Brazilian LBF. They are still close to the very top. SESI would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Domingos had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at SESI, through which she has constantly improved. Domingos has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (4th best: 16.8ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 10.5rpg) and averages solid 2.7spg and 59.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jennifer Munoz (170-G-1991) of Sao Jose Basketball. She is a guard in her first season at Sao Jose. In the last game Munoz recorded an impressive 30 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Sao Jose cruised to a 75-66 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Mesquita (#7, 6-7). Sao Jose's 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 7-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Munoz is one of the most experienced players at Sao Jose and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.9ppg (#5).

Third place about best performers goes to Izabella Sangalli (182-SF-1995) of Unimed Campinas Basquete (#6). Sangalli showcased her all-around game by recording 21 points, 15 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Campinas, leading her team to a 59-57 win against the lower-ranked Santo Andre (#9, 4-9). Campinas needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 6 lost games. Sangalli has a great season in Brazil. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.1ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 13.0rpg (#1 in league). Izabella Sangalli has also Brazilian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
