Rouse's 29 points and 7 rebounds give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old American forward Dayna Rouse (185-F-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for Cerrado Basquete Brasilia and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 20.
She had the game-high 29 points adding seven rebounds and two assists for Cerrado in her team's victory, helping them to beat Corinthians (#3, 14-5) 70-64. Cerrado maintains the 8th position in Brazilian LBF. Cerrado is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-11 record. Rouse just recently signed at Cerrado, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Dayna Rouse averages this season 17.6ppg and 6.2rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Aline Moura (185-F/C-1997) of league's second-best SESI Araraquara Basquete. She is international forward in her first season at SESI. In the last game Moura recorded an impressive 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course she led SESI to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Santo Andre (#9, 6-14) 78-50. SESI's second position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 15-4 record is not bad at all. Moura is one of the most experienced players at SESI and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Mayra Caicedo (161-G-2000) of Sodie Mesquita (#7). Caicedo showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Mesquita, leading her team to a 62-57 win against slightly higher-ranked Campinas (#6, 11-9). Mesquita needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 9 lost games. Caicedo has a great season in Brazil. After 18 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.3ppg (5th best) and assists with 4.9apg (9th best).
