Rather expected game when 8th ranked Cerrado (9-11) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Sao Jose (11-9) 79-73. Sao Jose forced 19 Cerrado turnovers. Cerrado was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Jennifer Munoz (170-1991) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and center Barbara Bazilio (185-1991) accounted for 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Izabela De Andrade (182-1986) came up with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Leticia Lisboa (183-1993) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Cerrado in the defeat. Four Cerrado players scored in double figures. Cerrado's coach Alan Monteiro rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sao Jose moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Campinas.
