Colombian guard Manuela Rios (163-1997) fired 28 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Jennifer Munoz (170-1991) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Lays Silva (166-1998, agency: Interperformances) produced 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Leticia Josefino added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Campinas was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Aline Moura (185-1997) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. International forward Emanuely De Oliveira (178-1999, college: Florida) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists (made all of her seven free throws) for the winners. SESI's coach Fabio Appolinario allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Argentinian Agustina Marin (170-2003) answered with 24 points and Argentinian point guard Melisa Gretter (166-1993) added 4 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists in the effort for Campinas.
