Marcal's 20 points and 8 rebounds give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old guard Maisa Marcal (178-G-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked SESI Araraquara Basquete and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
She had the game-high 20 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for SESI in her team's victory, helping them to beat Recife (#9, 2-10) 73-65. SESI is placed at 2nd position in Brazilian LBF. They are still close to the very top. SESI would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 11-2 record. In the team's last game Marcal had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at SESI, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Maisa Marcal averages this season 11.5ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Jayla Crawford (170-G-2000, agency: Interperformances) of Sodie Mesquita. She is American guard in her first season at Mesquita.
