It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Sampaio. They outrebounded Sampaio 42-28 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Campinas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international power forward Leticia Rodrigues (187-1995) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Joice Rodrigues (174-1986) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Campinas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 12-2 record having just three points less than leader Sampaio.
