Smith is back at Bristol Flyers

Leslee Smith

Bristol Flyers (BBL) agreed terms with 32-year old British V.Islands ex-international forward Leslee Smith (203cm-111kg-1990, college: Nebraska) for new 2022-23 season. It is actually his comeback to Flyers as he has played here before. The last time (2019-2020) he played at Plymouth City Patriots in British BBL league. Smith missed last two seasons and had longer break from professional basketball.
He also represented British Virgin Islands at the CBC Championship in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) seven years ago. Smith's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 6 games: 4.2ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.3spg.
Smith is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Georgia (Olimpi), Germany (Kangaroos), PBL (Kentucky M.) and TBL (Dallas Skyline).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the BBL Semifinals in 2018. Smith was voted to Eurobasket.com Georgian League All-Imports Team back in 2016.
He graduated from University of Nebraska in 2015 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
On Smith: A good defender in the paint, he can block over a shot a game. Smith's a great worker, who returned from a ACL tear in less than six mont.
