Espanol was defeated by Univ.Concepcion in a tough game in Talca 74-79. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Univ.Concepcion outrebounded Espanol 53-39 including 40 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Barbara Cousino (178-1996) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Mexican power forward Myriam Lara (188-1994) chipped in 16 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks.
