Ramiro Galvez claims Chilean LNB 2 Hoops Agents weekly honour

International Shooting guard Ramiro Galvez (SG) had an amazing evening in the last round for Club Stadio Italiano de Santiago and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 16.
The shooting guard had a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds, while his team edged out Boston College (#4, 10-7) 76-72. Stadio Italiano is placed at 5th position in Chilean LNB 2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Stadio Italiano will need more victories to improve their 9-7 record. In the team's last game Galvez had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Stadio Italiano, through which he has constantly improved. Ramiro Galvez averages this season 11.1ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Luis Cutis (1995) of CD Brisas de la Cisterna. Cutis impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds. Of course Brisas cruised to a 72-60 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Sergio Ceppi (#2, 11-7). Marechal showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Aleman, leading his team to a 80-72 win against the lower-ranked Arturo Prat (#12, 2-15). Aleman needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 7 lost games. Marechal has a great season in Chile. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.6ppg (8th best) and assists with 4.4apg (2nd best). He also has 2.1spg and and 3PT: 41.9%.
