Chilean LNB 2 round 18 best performance: Martin Morales (by Hoops Agents)

Forward Martin Morales (F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Truenos de Talca, receiving a Hoops Agents LNB 2 Player of the Week award for round 18.
The player had a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed Arturo Prat (#12, 2-17) with 43-point margin 112-69. Truenos is placed at 3rd position in Chilean LNB 2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Truenos will need more victories to improve their 12-7 record. Morales has many years of experience at Truenos, through which he has constantly improved. Martin Morales has solid league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 11.1rpg. Morales is in league's top in assists (7th best: 1.7apg) and averages impressive 60.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Venezuelan Angel Galaviz (198-F-2000) of Luis Matte Larrain. Galaviz had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Luis Matte to edge the higher-ranked Aleman (#5, 11-8) 90-89. Luis Matte's 10th position in the standings has not changed. Third on the list of top players last round was another Truenos' star - international guard Sebastian Saez (190-G-1984). Saez scored 24 points. He was another key player of Truenos de Talca, helping his team with a 112-69 easy win against the lower-ranked Arturo Prat (#12, 2-17). Truenos needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 7 lost games. Saez has a very solid season. In 18 games in Chile he scored 12.8ppg. He also has 4.2rpg and a FGP of 53.1%.
