Daniela Morillo-Wallen, 29-year old Venezuelan small forward from the Colegio Los Leones Quilpe, was honored as the Player of the Year at the Liga Nacional Femenina. She graduated from the Okla City seven years ago. Morillo-Wallen received multiple other awards, earned the Forward of the Year, Import Player of the Year and was named to the First Team. With Morillo-Wallen's excellent performance, the Colegio Los Leones Quilpe achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 7 to 1 in the regular season. Her best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately lost against Sportiva Italiana Valparaiso 0 to 2. Morillo-Wallen was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. Her court vision propelled her to the fourth spot in points per game an outstanding average of over 18 and second position in rebounds per game, averaging almost 13. Morillo-Wallen has totalled 5 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 9 games on the year. Her 27 points against the Gimnastico were the most she scored in the 2024 season. Betsy Guilarte, 21-year old Cuban center from the Club Sergio Ceppi Santiago, was voted the Center of the Year at the Liga Nacional Femenina. She was also selected to the First Team. Guilarte registered almost 16 points per game that season in the league. She was voted Player of the Week in the league. Guilarte led the LNF in rebounds per game with almost 14. She has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points and had double-doubles in 5 games on the year. Guilarte's 23 points against the Gimnastico were the most she scored in the 2024 season. She played in the final of the Cuban Liga Superior in 2019.
Kwanza Murray, 28-year old American guard from the CD Esc. Alemana Paillaco, was chosen to the First Team of Liga Nacional Femenina. She is the Lincoln of Pennsylvania alumna from 2020. Murray recorded almost 6 rebounds per game over the season in the league. She led the LNF in points per game with almost 25. Murray has totalled 6 games of 20 or more points on the year and logged 30 or more points in 2 games. Her 39 points against the Frontera were the most she scored in the 2024 season. Among many awards she played in the final of the Irish Superleague in 2022. She was also selected as the CIAA Conference Player of the Year as well as the All-Americans Honorable Mention back in 2020. Gavin has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 5 games on the year. Her 27 points against Puerto Montt were the most she scored in the 2024 season. Among many awards Gavin's team won the A-Sun West Division Regular Season in 2022. She was selected to the All-A-Sun Second Team in 2023. Gavin was also selected to the A-Sun All-Tournament Team in 2022.
