Scott's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

32-year old American power forward Leah Scott (183-PF-1993) had a great game in the last round for league's best team CD Universitario Concepcion and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
She had a double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds, while her team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Alemana P. (#4, 0-2) with 16-point margin 70-54. It allowed Univ.Concepcion to consolidate first place in the Chilean LNF. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Univ.Concepcion already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Scott had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Univ.Concepcion's top player in her first season with the team. Marshall University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Scott is in league's top in points (3rd best: 19.3ppg), rebounds (4th best: 10.0rpg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 65.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Nerea Lagowski (195-C-2006) of league's second-best C.D. Universitario Austral de Chile. She is Argentinian center in her first season at Univ. Austral. In the last game Lagowski recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 17 rebounds. Of course she led Univ. Austral to another comfortable win 76-63 over Puerto Montt (1-2) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Zona Sur. Univ. Austral consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 1-2 record. Lagowski is a newcomer at Univ. Austral and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Biranna Monet (2000) of Municipal Puente Alto (#3). Monet scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. She was a key player of Puente Alto, leading her team to a 103-59 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Sergio Ceppi (#5, 1-5). Puente Alto is closer and closer to top of the standings in Zona Centro. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Monet has a great season in Chile. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.8rpg (6th best).
