Second defeat of league's leader Los Leones (6-2) against second ranked Puente Alto (6-1) 78-69 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Puente Alto forced 20 Los Leones turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Los Leones' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Colombian guard Manuela Rios (163-1997) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. contributed with 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. answered with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for Los Leones. Los Leones' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Puente Alto have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Sportiva Ita. Los Leones at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Puente Alto.
Another exciting game for Gimnastico (3-5) which played in Santiago against Sergio Ceppi (2-6). Fourth ranked Gimnastico eked out just a narrow 2-points road win over Sergio Ceppi 71-69. It was a great evening for who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Betsy Guilarte helped adding 19 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Colombian guard Manuela Rios (163-1997) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Sergio Ceppi's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Gimnastico maintains fourth place with 3-5 record. Sergio Ceppi at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost.
Very important is a home loss of second ranked Alemana (1-3) against fourth ranked Univ. Austral (2-3) on Friday night. Host Alemana was defeated by Univ. Austral in Paillaco 85-72. It was a key game for the second position in the league. It was an exceptional evening for Nerea Lagowski who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds. Daniela Dublo came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for Alemana in the defeat. Alemana P.'s coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Univ. Austral moved-up to second place. Loser Alemana P. dropped to the third position with three games lost.

In the last two games of round 7 Puerto Montt lost to undefeated Univ.Concepcion on the road 53-104. Sportiva Ita. destroyed Brisas on its own court 114-23.
The most impressive performance of 7th round was 23 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by Javiera Campos of Los Leones.

No shocking result in a game when leader Univ.Concepcion (6-0) crushed at home 4th placed Puerto Montt (1-4) 104-53 on Saturday. Univ.Concepcion dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Puerto Montt's 28. Univ.Concepcion forced 20 Puerto Montt turnovers and outrebounded them 48-28 including a 36-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Four Univ.Concepcion players scored in double figures. American forward Destiny Samuel (188, college: USA) came up with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Catalina Tano added 12 points and 6 steals respectively for Puerto Montt in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Univ.Concepcion. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Loser Puerto Montt keeps the fourth position with four games lost.
