Alemana dominated down low during the game scoring 34 of its points in the paint compared to Univ. Austral's 14. They outrebounded Univ. Austral 41-28 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Italian-Argentinian Daniela Dublo (184-1988) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Tatiana Gomez contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Alemana P. players scored in double figures. Alemana P.'s coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. answered with 27 points and 5 rebounds and Argentinian center Nerea Lagowski (195-2006) added 7 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Univ. Austral.

Puente Alto made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Los Leones turnovers. It was a great evening for American center Dorie Harrison (190, college: Lipscomb) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Colombian guard Manuela Rios (163-1997) helped adding 13 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists and 6 steals (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Puente Alto's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Kyaja Williams (180-1998, college: Bowie St.) with a triple-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and scored 13 points and 4 assists. Four Los Leones players scored in double figures.
