Paisas are LPB champions. They outscored Caimanes in Game 3 of the Finals to complete the sweep. Paisas outrebounded Caimanes 45-30 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Caimanes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international point guard Hansel Atencia (178-1997, college: Master's) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Paisas players scored in double figures. Uruguayan forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and American center Sal Nuhu (203-1995, college: Portland St.) added 7 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Caimanes. Emmitt Williams, 26-year old American forward from the Caribbean Storm Islands, earned a spot in the First Team at the Liga de Baloncesto Profesional. He Is the Louisiana State alumni from 2020.
