Colombian LBP round 1 best performance: Andres Millan (by Hoops Agents)

American-Argentinian Forward Andres Millan (198-F-2001) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Los Paisas de Medellin, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Carrib.Storm (#4, 0-2) with 20-point margin 77-57. It allowed Paisas to take over top position in the Colombian LBP. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Paisas won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Millan had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Paisas' top player in his first season with the team. Andres Millan has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 14.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.5rpg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg and 100.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Paisas' star - young David Ojeda (181-PG-2003). Ojeda had a very good evening with 15 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course together with Millan he helped Los Paisas de Medellin with another comfortable win outscoring Carrib.Storm (0-2) 85-57. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Ojeda is one of the most experienced players at Paisas and similarly like Andres Millan has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.5ppg (#5). He also recorded 3.5 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Paisas' star - international guard Octavio Munoz (179-PG-2001). Munoz showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Los Paisas de Medellin, helping his team with a 85-57 easy win against #4 ranked Carrib.Storm in a game of the week. Paisas has a very good start of the season.
