Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Tigrillos at the other side keep the fifth position with eight games lost.

In the last game of round 9 Titanes crushed Tigrillos in Barranquilla 94-71.

Undefeated leader Titanes delivered the tenth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Tigrillos (2-8) 101-77 in Medellin. Titanes forced 19 Tigrillos turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Panamanian Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) stepped up and scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Dominican-Puerto Rican Jonathan Rodriguez (196-1987, college: Campbell) chipped in 23 points and 10 rebounds. Five Titanes players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Puerto Rican Jorge Torres (196) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and Argentinian Patricio Pinero (195-1995) scored 28 points and 6 rebounds. Tigrillos' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Titanes (10-0) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Tigrillos at the other side keep the fifth position with eight games lost.

They also forced 21 Tigrillos turnovers. Dominican-Puerto Rican Jonathan Rodriguez (196-1987, college: Campbell) stepped up and scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners and Venezuelan guard Yohanner Sifontes (192-1995) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
