LSB Round 4 (Regular Season): Seminario lose to Semedes

There was a change at the LSB leadership position after last games. Round 4 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Seminario (3-1). They were crushed by eighth ranked Semedes (1-3) 85-62 on Thursday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Seminario. Semedes left bottom position moving up to seventh place. Seminario at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Grecia who have the same record.
The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked Grecia as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Seminario) loss. Grecia defeated 5th ranked Escazu at home 73-63. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Seminario and Roswell. Defending champion Escazu dropped to the sixth place with two games lost.
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Coyotes (2-1) in San Jose on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Roswell (3-1) 90-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Coyotes. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Roswell keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Grecia and Seminario. Loser Coyotes dropped to the fourth place with one game lost.

In the last game of round 4 winless Jaguars lost to Limon Sh. on the opponent's court 72-85.



Semedes - Seminario 85-62
