Roswell and Semedes Advance to the Costa Rican Semifinals

Two more places in the Liga Superior de Baloncesto semifinals were filled as Roswell and Semedes closed out their quarterfinal series in contrasting fashion.
Roswell were utterly dominant, knocking AAB Jaguars out with a 95-73 victory. DeVale Johnson powered the win with a commanding double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds, controlling both ends as Roswell pulled away to book their semifinal spot with room to spare.
Semedes had to work much harder, edging a high-scoring battle with Escazu 108-100 to advance. David Shedden (197-F-1995) led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds, his double-double anchoring a Semedes side that found enough in a back-and-forth contest to eliminate Escazu and move on.
With the result, Semedes set up a semifinal meeting with ARBA San Ramon, who had earlier swept Grecia CRS Seguros to reach the last four, while Roswell advance to the other side of the bracket.
