Metropoli inks Shakari Williams, ex Leca

Shakari Williams

Metropoli Academy-Cartago (LSB) agreed terms with 24-year old American forward Shakari Williams (201cm-88kg-2000, college: Thomas) for upcoming 2025 season. He played last season at GDB Leca in Portuguese 1.Divisao.
His team was regular season runner-up in TSC in 2023.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
Williams graduated from Thomas in 2023 and it will be his second season as a professional player. He played also for Snead State Community College for 2 years.
