The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Metropoli in Cartago on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Escazu 68-58. Escazu is looking forward to face Jaguars in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Metropoli will play against Roswell in San Jose and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Very significant was ARBA's 76-72 road victory against Puntarenas. ARBA's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from San Jose Abogados.
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Grecia played at the court of Jaguars. Jaguars smashed Grecia 90-63 on Wednesday. Jaguars will meet Escazu in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Grecia will play against Limon Sh. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 1 winless Roswell lost to undefeated Limon Sh. on the opponent's court 70-74.
