LSB Round 4 (Regular Season): Jaguars are defeated by Puntarenas

The most important game in the last round took place in Puntarenas between third ranked Jaguars (2-2) and fifth ranked Puntarenas (2-1) on Sunday night. Jaguars were defeated by Puntarenas in a tough game on the road 77-85. Puntarenas moved-up to third place. Jaguars at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Limon Sh.. Puntarenas are looking forward to face Grecia (#7) on the road in the next round. Jaguars will play against the league's leader Abogados in San Jose and are hoping to win this game.
Roswell has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Grecia (1-3) 84-74. Roswell left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Grecia and Metropoli. Roswell's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in San Jose to the arena Escazu.
The game in Limon was also quite interesting. 4th ranked ARBA (1-2) played at the court of sixth ranked Limon Sh. (2-2). Limon Sh. defeated ARBA 76-65 on Sunday. Limon Sh. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Jaguars. Loser ARBA dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Limon Sh. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. ARBA will play against Metropoli (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 4 Abogados won against Metropoli on the opponent's court 77-67.



Roswell - Grecia 84-74

Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Escazu. Loser Metropoli keeps the seventh place with three games lost. They share the position with Grecia and Roswell. Abogados will meet at home Jaguars (#4) in the next round. Metropoli will play against ARBA in San Jose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
