CUG celebrate Santiago League title - May 4, 2015

CUG earned the Santiago League title. They beat Sameji in the sixth game of the Finals to win the series 4-2. Robert Glenn (201-PF-89, agency: Duran International, college: IUPUI) stepped up with 21 points to lead the champions. He was named the MVP after the game.
Sameji jumped to an early lead. They led by a single point 18:17 after the opening quarter. Sameji maintained the lead throughout the second frame. They registered a 34:31 halftime advantage. But CUG turned the tables in the second part of the game. They used a 23:17 run in the third quarter to pull ahead. CUG followed with a 19:15 rally in the fourth frame to ice the victory. Alejo Rodriguez (194-F-96) delivered 15 points and 21 rebounds, while Jonathan Rodriguez (196-F-87, college: Campbell) provided 13 points for the winners. Luis Jacobo (196-F-91, agency: Mansfield and Associates, college: IPFW) answered with 16 points for Sameji. Edward Santana (203-F/C-80) finished with 15 points in the loss.
