CDP conquer Santiago League title - May 3, 2018


Pueblo Nuevo - CDP 97:101

CDP have been crowned Santiago League champions. They topped Pueblo Nuevo in Game 5 of the title series to win it 4-1. Adris De Leon (180-PG-84, college: E.Washington) came up with 16 points for the champions. He was named the MVP. It all came down to the final seconds in this one. The teams were tied at 97 late in regulation. However Adris De Leon gave CDP a 99:97 lead and they hung on to conquer the trophy. Jerome Frink posted 20 points, while Edward Santana (203-F/C-80) and Angel Nunez (203-F-91, college: S.Florida) contributed 19 points each for CDP. Ronald Tineo replied with 25 points for Pueblo Nuevo. Todd Mayo (190-G-91, college: Marquette) provided 19 points in the defeat.
