    GUG - Cupes 92-105

    Cupes celebrated the Santiago League title. They edged GUG in the sixth game of the series to claim the trophy. Cupes looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for point guard Juan-Miguel Suero (198-93) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals. Point guard Jaison Valdez (188-95) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Cupes players scored in double figures. Cupes' coach Vladimir Frias used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Juan Guerrero (201-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 11 rebounds (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!) and power forward Adris Rodriguez (202-82) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for GUG.
