They fired past Cupes on the road to complete the sweep of the Finals. The game was mostly controlled by CPN. Cupes managed to win fourth quarter 27-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Cupes' 50. They outrebounded Cupes 46-34 including a 30-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. CPN looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for American Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory with 37 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Victor Liz (193-86) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Four CPN players scored in double figures. Forward Juan Miguel Suero (196-93) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican forward Emmanuel Andujar (198-93, college: Manhattan) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Cupes. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
