GUG clinched the Santiago League title. They fired past Plaza in the decisive seventh game of the championship series. Juan Miguel Suero (196-F-1993) finished with 25 points to pace the champions. He was named the MVP. Juan Miguel Suero hit key free throws late in the game to seal the win for GUG. Juan Guerrero (205-F-1993) delivered 20 points and 17 rebounds, while Gelvis Solano (185-G-1994, college: Merrimack) added 22 points for the winners. Oliver Garcia (188-G-1996, agency: Ballerz Unlimited LLC) answered with 17 points for Plaza. Anyeuri Castillo (201-F-1997, college: USC Aiken) chipped in 11 points in the loss.
