Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

An interesting game for La Perla (6-0) which hosted in Guayaquil 3rd ranked Vikingos (4-2). Top-ranked La Perla had an easy win 82-46. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vikingos. La Perla dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Vikingos' 24. La Perla forced 25 Vikingos turnovers. It was a good game for center Samy Bacilio (180-3) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. The former international Erika Calderon (178-91) contributed with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Nahomi Guzman (178-1) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds for Vikingos. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated La Perla have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Vikingos at the other side keep the third place with two games lost. La Perla are looking forward to face Punto R. (#4) in the next round. Vikingos will play against the league's second-placed Los Andes SM and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Los Andes SM (5-1) which hosted in 4th ranked Punto R. (3-3). Second ranked Los Andes SM managed to get a 6-point victory 55-49. The former international guard Doris Lasso (164-93) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Daniela Mora chipped in 9 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Liliana Angulo (183-90) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Punto R.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Los Andes SM have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 5-1 record behind leader La Perla. Punto R. at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. Los Andes SM will play against Vikingos (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Punto R. will play against the league's leader La Perla and hopes to get back on the winning track.

(#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Santa ES will play against Henko and hopes to get finally their first victory.

The best player for the winners was Emily Gonzalez who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Viejo W. moved-up to fifth place. Henko at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Viejo W.'s next round opponent will be UDJ (#6) in Quininde. Henko will play against Santa ES and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
