UTEC wins Copa Gatorade 2011 - Dec 24, 2011 The team named Universidad Tecnologica (UTEC) claimed the Salvadorean First Division-Copa Gatorade 2011 by defeating 2-0 in Final Series Survivor. The Final Series ended 2-0, and Survivor largely defeated UTEC, 90-56 in Game 1, led by Veronica Sosa (172-G/F-90), who scored 22 points, while Lorena Simon (174-F-81) scored 15 at the losing side. The decisive Game 2 went to Survivor too, with a 68-53 final score. Another time more, Veronica Sosa outstood with 23 points, being also named the Finals MVP.
