road to claim 3-1 victory in the championship series. Marquense led from the
first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter.

double-double by scoring 17 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
Honduran centerMachiel Ramon(203) chipped in a
double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks. Four Marquense
players scored in double figures. Marquense's coach used entire bench which

ExSAL earned the Liga Superior Apertura title. They beat San Marcos in the decisive fifth game of the championship series. Roberto Martinez scored 34 points to lead the winners. San Marcos jumped to a 25:19 lead after the opening quarter. But ExSAL erased the deficit for a 39:39 tie at halftime. San Marcos regained the lead in the third term. They pulled ahead for a 54:51 advantage at the final intermission. However ExSAL dropped 33 points in the fourth period and snatched a decisive victory. Pieter Prinsloo (208-F-92, college: Marist) tallied 20 points and 17 rebounds, while Julio Mancia (202-C-80) netted 16 points in the win. Ernesto Oglivie (199-F-89) responded with 34 points and 12 rebounds for San Marcos. Salvador Bandek (181-G-78) provided 21 points in the loss.
