Santa Tecla 2 outrebounded Salvadorenas 2 64-34 including a 23-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Costa Rican guard Daniela Quesada (168-1997, college: Salem) who led her team to a victory with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Costa Rican point guard Gabriela Alvarado contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Center Silvia Vega (176-2003) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Fatima Aviles (161-1999) added 18 points and 6 steals in the effort for Salvadorenas 2. Salvadorenas 2's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
