It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Batanecas. Salvadorenas 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Batanecas' 38. Salvadorenas 2 forced 27 Batanecas turnovers. The best player for the winners was Cuban Bexy Claro (193-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds. Naturalized American Emily Tevez (175-1993, college: NDN) chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Cuban center Rachel Contreras (184-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds for the hosts.
