It was a good game for Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) who led her team to a victory with 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Adriana Rivas (175-1996) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Cuban center Rachel Contreras (184-1999) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for Batanecas. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated San Salvador have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Batanecas at the other side keep the second place with two games lost. San Salvador are looking forward to face Santa Tecla 2 (#5) on the road in the next round. Batanecas will play against LMMR 2 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Guard Melany Sanchez (167-2004) scored 32 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Camila Lima chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Honduran center Jani Martinez (176-1980) with 9 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists. Santa Ana 2's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Santa Tecla 2 maintains fifth position with 1-4 record. It was Santa Ana 2's seventh loss in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Santa Tecla 2 will play against league's leader San Salvador at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
