An interesting game for San Salvador (6-0) which hosted in San Salvador second-best Batanecas (5-2). Top-ranked San Salvador had an easy win 95-57. San Salvador dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Batanecas' 28. San Salvador forced 29 Batanecas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Batanecas' players. It was a good game for Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) who led her team to a victory with 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Adriana Rivas (175-1996) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Cuban center Rachel Contreras (184-1999) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for Batanecas.
