Boulet's double-double lands her Liga Mayor Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

40-year old Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team AD Isidro Metapan and receives a Hoops Agents Liga Mayor Player of the Week award for round 12.
She had a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds, while her team outclassed Salvadorenas 2 (#4, 8-6) with 28-point margin 79-51. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Metapan to consolidate first place in the Salvadorean league. Metapan has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 14-1. Boulet turned to be Metapan's top player in her first season with the team. Boulet has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 29.9ppg. Boulet is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 15.1rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 59.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Maria Montero (176-G-1998) of Batanecas BC. She is Cuban guard in her first season at Batanecas. In the last game Montero recorded an impressive triple-double of 22 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists. Of course she led Batanecas to another comfortable win 69-51 over slightly lower-ranked Santa Tecla 2 (#5, 7-7) being unquestionably team leader. Batanecas' 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 9-4 record is not bad at all. Montero is a newcomer at Batanecas and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.5ppg (#9). Her other stats are also decent: 10.2rpg and 5.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Monica Aristondo (163-SG-1992) of Santa Ana 2nd team (#7). Aristondo got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. She went also for five rebounds . She was a key player of Santa Ana 2, leading her team to a 79-64 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Santiagueno (#8, 2-11). Santa Ana 2 can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-12 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Aristondo has individually a great season in El Salvador. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 29.5ppg (2nd best).
