Experienced Cuban Dairis Tornell (176-PG-1992) had a very impressive game in the last round for Santa Ana 2nd team and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Liga Mayor Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 32-year old playmaker had a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds, while her team beat Santa Tecla 2 (#8, 2-7) 76-64. Santa Ana 2 maintains the 5th position in Salvadorean Liga Mayor. Santa Ana 2 is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-5 record. In the team's last game Tornell had a remarkable 64.7% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Santa Ana 2, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Martinez is one of the most experienced players at San Salvador and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.1ppg (#8). She also registered 10.9 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Santa Ana 2's star - Monica Aristondo (163-SG-1992). Aristondo scored 18 points and passed 6 assists. She was another key player of Santa Ana 2nd team, helping her team with a 76-64 win against the lower-ranked Santa Tecla 2 (#8, 2-7).
