Liga Mayor top team - San Salvador (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Santa Tecla 2 (2-9) 96-51. San Salvador outrebounded Santa Tecla 2 48-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. San Salvador looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of Cuban point guard Arlenys Romero (176-1984) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 assists and Cuban Anisleidys Martinez (181-1989) who added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Camila Lima (172-2003) with 6 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated San Salvador have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-0 record. Santa Tecla 2 lost seventh consecutive game.
