An interesting game for Salvadorenas (3-1) which hosted in one of their biggest challengers Santa Tecla (3-2). Second ranked Salvadorenas had an easy win 81-62. Salvadorenas dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Santa Tecla's 30. Salvadorenas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Silvia Vega (176-2003) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Gabriela Alfaro (167-2004) contributed with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. San Salvador have a solid four-game winning streak.
