Salvadorean Liga Mayor round 4 best performance: Silvia Vega (by Hoops Agents)

Center Silvia Vega (176-C-2003) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Salvadorenas, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga Mayor Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 22-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 18 rebounds, while her team crushed Santa Tecla (#3, 3-2) with 19-point margin 81-62. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Salvadorenas maintains the 2nd position in Salvadorean Liga Mayor. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Salvadorenas will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. Vega turned to be Salvadorenas' top player in her first season with the team. Silvia Vega has solid league stats. Third on the list of top players last round was another Salvadorenas' star - forward Gabriela Alfaro (167-F-2004). Alfaro showcased her all-around game by recording 19 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Salvadorenas, helping her team with a 81-62 easy win against #3 ranked Santa Tecla in a game of the week.
