Argentina will play for the title in Buenos Aires. They held off Puerto Rico to reach Final. Agostina Burani (184-F/C-91) was pivotal with 26 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Argentina held Puerto Rico to only 4 points in the first term to take a 9-point lead. Puerto Rico pulled within 4 points at halftime 22:18. Argentina stretched the lead at 8-point mark heading into the fourth frame. Puerto Rico fought bravely in the final stanza but could not avoid the defeat. Canada - Brazil 84-45
Canada cruised past Brazil in the semifinal clash. Nirra Fields (175-G-93, college: UCLA) and Kia Nurse (183-G-96) stepped up with 16 points each to pace the North American side. Canada jumped to a 41:22 halftime lead. They went on a 26:10 run in the third term to clear off for good. Miranda Ayim (191-F/C-88, college: Pepperdine) netted 15 points and collected 8 rebounds for the winners. Isabela Lyra (180-F-94) responded with 14 points for Brazil.
