Dominican Republic overcame Nicaragua in Day 4 at the 2025 AmeriCup Qualifiers. The guests grabbed an 89-73 win at the Polideportivo Alexis Argüello. Trailing 7 points at the end of the first quarter, Dominican Republic needed a strong 32-14 urge to take control in the game. They added a 26-21 rally in the third quarter, whilst both sides netted 17 points each in the last stanza.
Victor Liz (190-SG-1986) top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Omar Silverio (190-G-1998, college: WVU) poured in 14. Josmel Martinez (198-F-1999, college: Broward CC) answered with 21 points in the losing effort.
