Yago Dos Santos, 26-year old Brazilian point guard picked up the Most Valuable Player at the FIBA AmeriCup. He plays For the KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Beograd in Serbia. Dos Santos received multiple other awards, was named the Best Guard and was voted to the First Team. He started playing in the Brazilian National Team 8 years ago. Dos Santos also played for the Under 20 national team back in 2018. He was previously selected to the First Team back in 2022. With finesse and precision, Dos Santos claimed the third position in points per game, delivering a stellar over 14 points per game average, and fourth spot in assists per game with an outstanding average of over 3. Dos Santos' 25 points against Dominican Republic were the most he scored at the tournament. Among many awards he was selected to the Latinbasket All-Brazilian League Young Player of the Year as well as the All-Basketball Champions League Americas Second Team back in 2021. He was also selected to the Latinbasket All-Basketball Champions League Americas First Team as well as the All-Domestic Players Team back in 2022.
Kyshawn George, 21-year old Canadian small forward was voted the Best Forward of FIBA AmeriCup. He plays For the Washington Wizards In the NBA Summer League And graduated from Miami last year. George was also chosen to the First Team. He averaged over 13 points and 4 assists per game during the event. George's 18 points against Venezuela were the most he scored at the tournament.
Bruno Caboclo, 29-year old Brazilian center was selected as the Best Center at the FIBA AmeriCup. He plays For the Hapoel Shlomo Tel-Aviv in Israel. Caboclo was also named to the First Team. He started playing in the Brazilian National Team 8 years ago. Caboclo's playmaking prowess was on full display as he secured the fourth position in rebounds per game averaging 7. He also recorded 9 points per game at the event. Caboclo's 21 points against USA were the most he scored at the tournament. Among many awards he was selected to the Latinbasket All-Brazilian League Player of the Year as well as the All-Brazilian First Team and the All-Domestic Players Team back in 2022. He was also selected to the Latinbasket All-Paulista Second Team back in 2021.
Juan Fernandez, Argentinian center earned a spot in the First Team of FIBA AmeriCup. He plays For the Basquet Girona in Spain. Fernandez started playing in the Argentinian National Team 4 years ago. He also played for the Under 19 national team back in 2021. Fernandez registered over 7 points and 4 rebounds per game at the event. His 36 points against Colombia were the most he scored at the tournament. Among many awards Fernandez's team won the Spanish EBA Group B-A Regular Season in 2021. He was selected as the Eurobasket All-Spanish EBA Honorable Mention back in 2021.
Ja'Vonte Smart, 26-year old American guard was voted to the First Team at the FIBA AmeriCup. He plays For the Ottawa Blackjacks In the CEBL And Is the Louisiana State alumni from 2021. It is Smart's second year in the American National Team. Smart also played for the Under 17 national team back in 2016. He averaged over 5 points per game at the event. Smart has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points during the event. His 27 points against Uruguay were the most he scored at the tournament. He was selected to the All-SEC Second Team back in 2021 during his college time.
