2025 AmeriCup Qualifiers: Brazil keep the perfect record in Group B

Brazil has kept the perfect record in Group B beating Uruguay 70-61. The favorites remained undefeated and improved to a 5-0 record at the Estadio 8 de Junio arena.
Brazil notched 21 points in the first and then the second frames and led 8 points at the halftime. Uruguay replied with a 14-10 run in the third quarter, whilst Brazil closed the game with an 18-13 rally.
Georginho de Paula (197-PG-1996) stepped up with 20 points and 11 rebounds, whilst Yago Dos Santos (175-PG-1999) notched 17. Gonzalo Iglesias (203-F-1993) replied with 14 points in a loss and Nicola Pomoli (195-G/F-1999) as well as Santiago Vescovi (191-G-2001, college: Tennessee) had 11 apiece.
