Brazil edged Uruguay 81-76 in a tightly contested matchup, relying on a strong start and a composed finish. Brazil came out firing in the first quarter, taking a 27–20 lead, but Uruguay answered in the second period with a 24–19 run to cut the deficit to just two points at halftime, 46–44. The battle remained close in the third quarter, with Brazil narrowly ahead 19–18 to maintain their slim advantage. In the final stretch, Brazil held their composure, outscoring Uruguay 16–14 in the fourth to seal the five-point victory. The game was marked by momentum swings, but Brazil’s early cushion and balanced scoring ultimately proved decisive against a resilient Uruguayan side.
Bruno Caboclo (208-C-1995) led the way with 13 points, whilst Georginho de Paula (197-PG-1996), Yago Dos Santos (175-PG-1999) and Alexey Borges (185-PG-1995) had 12 each. Emiliano Serres (204-F-1997) replied with 14 points in defeat.
