Nicaragua came out strong, dominating the first quarter 27-13 and maintaining a 48-41 lead at halftime. Despite trailing for most of the game, Colombia began to close the gap in the third quarter and entered the final period still behind. However, a 28-point outburst in the fourth quarter - paired with strong defensive stops - allowed Colombia to overtake Nicaragua in the final minutes. The win was a testament to Colombia's resilience and ability to execute under pressure, while Nicaragua, despite a strong start, struggled to maintain their lead down the stretch. Hansel Atencia (178-PG-1997, college: Master's) stepped up with 26 points, Braian Angola-Rodas (198-G/F-1994, college: FSU) had 18 and Romario Roque (180-F-1998) brought 17.
